“…I think small businesses are more friendly and welcoming, they create a sense of community and get to know their customers. Unlike big corporations where a lot of workers look miserable while they’re on the job, most small business have workers that are lively and happy to be there. People who work for small businesses probably get treated better too, at big corporations there are so many employees that you are basically unknown to most of the company.”

“Small businesses are important to me because I live in a very small town at home and I have worked in a small business for 5 years. When people shop locally, it boots the economy of the community and it feels good to be working and making money, while also helping the town I grew up in. Without small businesses many small towns wouldn’t be able to succeed, grow, and when needed, renovate the town. My hometown was just re done and the budget was funded by our taxes and small businesses and without it, Westhampton wouldn’t have had such a good summer because it became a tourist attraction for a younger demographic, which it hasn’t been since I was born.”
